Hi, I'm Sonya Ross

I've been a voice, speech and pronunciation coach since 2006.

I fell in love with Hastings many years ago and after much deliberation, finally made the move in 2022...knowing no-one.

Luckily the place scooped me up. I love it here and wouldn't be anywhere else.

I'm originally from the other end of this land (Highlands of Scotland).

My training and life experience have helped me find my own voice, and it's my life's work to help you find yours.

What are your qualifications?

The most relevant one is my MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.

Others:

  • MA English Language (University of Edinburgh)

  • Certificate in Proficiency of the Phonetics of English (International Phonetic Association)

Do you work with children?

Sorry, I'm afraid not. My qualifications and experience mean that I only work with adults.

Do you offer a sliding fee scale?

I have limited spaces available on a sliding scale for those on a lower income.
